2026 Spring Tee Ball (Co-Ed)

Anticipated Season Dates:

Opening Day: April 24

Regular Season Ends: June 5

**Please note that tournaments and tee ball season are expected to extend past the last day of school for Allendale Public Schools**

Tee Ball - Coed (League Ages 4-6) - Please register for Tee Ball under the Baseball Program

One game per week on Fridays. About 60 minutes per game.

Tee ball encourages teamwork and fun while introducing kids to hitting, fielding and baserunning. All players will hit off a tee for the first 4 weeks of the season. After that time, coaches may pitch to players based on ability. Play will consist of 2 innings in which all players will have a turn at bat.
Teams are chosen randomly
6 year-olds with either 2 years of tee ball experience OR at least 1 year of tee ball and good softball skills are encouraged to sign up for Coach Pitch Softball.

2026 Spring Softball

In-house Tournament Starts: June 8

Coach Pitch Softball (League Ages 6-8)

Two games per week on Wednesdays and Fridays. About 70-80 minutes per game

Coaches will pitch max 5 balls to each player. No strikeouts until the last 2 weeks of the season (Players will hit off tee after 3 strikes). No walks, bunting or base stealing. One time through the batting order per inning.
Teams are chosen randomly.
8 year-olds with Travel Softball experience are encouraged to sign up for Minors Softball.

Minors Softball (League Ages 8-10)

Two games per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. About 80-90 minutes per game

Players pitch underhand from 35'. Max 5 runs per inning. No walks during the first half of the season (Coach will finish batters). Base stealing is allowed except during coach pitch.
Teams are formed based on evaluations. All prospective players are expected to attend evaluations.
8 year-olds who register for this division must attend evaluations and may be asked to move to coach pitch if further development is necessary.

Majors Softball (League Ages 11-12)

Two games per week on Mondays and Wednesdays. About 120 minutes per game (6 innings)

This division may be an interleague division with other teams in District 9. Game days are subject to change.

Players pitch underhand from 40'. Walks and stealing are allowed.
Teams will be formed by draft. All prospective players are expected to attend evaluations.

Juniors Softball (League Ages 13-14)

This is an interleague division. Schedule and rules will be determined by District 9. Depending on total numbers, Allendale players may be placed on another nearby Charter.

Kid pitch from 46' mound. Pitch limits will follow little league rules. Max 5 runs per inning. Base stealing is allowed. No leadoffs. No dropped 3rd strike.
Teams are formed based on evaluations. All prospective players are expected to attend evaluations.
8 year-olds who register for this division must attend evaluations and may be asked to move to coach pitch if further development is necessary.
A "Senior Minors" division consisting of the top 40-44 players (based on evaluations) may be split from Minors if registration exceeds 88 players.

Majors Baseball (League Ages 11-12)

Two games per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. About 120 minutes per game (6 innings)

Same rules as Minors Baseball except dropped 3rd strike rule is in effect.
Teams will be formed by draft. All prospective players are expected to attend evaluations.

May 4 - June 26

Intermediate Baseball (League Age 13 year-olds only)

This is an interleague division. Schedule will be determined by District 9.

50' mound/70 bases.
Teams will be formed by draft. Players are expected to attend evaluations.
If registration numbers are low, players will be moved to Juniors Baseball.

Juniors Baseball (League Ages 13-14)

This is an interleague division. Schedule will be determined by District 9.

Full size field (60' mound/90' bases).
Teams will be formed by draft. Players are expected to attend evaluations.

Seniors Baseball (League Ages 15-16)

This is an interleague division. Schedule will be determined by District 9.

Games are played as double headers (5pm/7pm) during the month of June.
